Inauguration of the college by Hon'ble Chief Minister Sh. Ashok Gehlot

The inauguration of the college was done in 2002 by Hon'ble Chief Minister Sh. Ashok Gehlot. Since then Jodhpur Engineering College & Research Centre is fast emerging as a pioneering institution on the academic horizon with the mission “Excellence through Quality”. Jodhpur Engineering College & Research Centre is promoted by a group of erudite professionals with a firm commitment to “Excellence through Quality”. These professionals have formed themselves into a Trust- Kushal Education Trust, Jaipur .
 

The group has a sound financial background and works in tandem with various institutions in academicia, industry, corporate sector and the Government. The vision of the institution is to “maximize campus recruitment” through the overall development of the students capacities and capabilities by providing value added education in addition to curriculum based education. The stress is not only on imparting sound and in-depth knowledge of the subjects taught but also to tap the hidden talents and potential of individual students and channelize them into the desired direction .Honing their skills and efficiency will greatly enhance the employability of the pass outs and to achieve this purpose the institution will provide “Value added Education” across the board along with the project oriented supervised intensive summer training programs in leading industries, corporate houses and research institutions.

Diwali Celebration

It was the festival of crackers & lights. The college wore a festive look as rangoli, diya designing & card designing competition took place. The sandunes  behind the college building resonated & reverberated to the sounds of diwali cracker bombs & rockets zoomed as staff & students together celebrated diwali. Sweets were distributed & greetings exchanged.

Makar Sakranti/ Lohri Celebrations

The secular spirit was very much visible on 13th Jan as we celebrated Lohri & the sky was replete with colorful kites & the shouts of 'woh kata' rented the air.

Everyone danced around the lit campfire with zeal & zest. Sakranti sweets were distributed.

Eid Celebration

Eid was celebrated with great zest. The program began with Quawali followed by a Mushairra. The Chief Guests of the day were Janab Sheen Kaaf Nizam and Dr.A.D.Rathi.Eid sweets were distributed to everyone.

Christmas Celebration

"Let Earth receive thy King." Such was the mindset of all the students when Christmas was celebrated with great pomp & splendor. Fun was the keyword. The games organized in the college lawn set the mood. DRM Mr. Santokh Singh graced the occasion with his presence.
 

The cultural events included a pantomime, a dance program by "MARKS", a group of enthusiastic mechanical engineering students, fusion dances, a much appreciated CINEMA-CINEMA, and the traditional ball dance. The highlight of the day was the free dance in the college quadrangle in which anyone could join in. Kudos to the participants and organisers. Thus, Christmas was celebrated in a festive mood.
